Mt Fuji Hostel Michael's

This is first place staying in japan. I booked one bunk bed on this hostel for climb Mt Fuji Day Trip, Here is the spectacular view from balcony i have been watching even after trail mt fuji. Everything in the place was very clean. Bus stops, train station Conveinent stores, restraunts and laundry are limited and very nearest and walkable. There is no noise pollution in this area even bars and pubs are nearby. In night place is very calm i just heard sewer water flow and cricket sounds. Owner Micheal, Staffs are kind, helpful and beautiful.

What my wife and i liked about the Hostel, was, that its close to a train station (5 min walk), lots of small restaurant, cafes and small shops (like for tea or for clothing) are nearby, even a 7/11 is very close (also around 5 min walk) Our stay in the Hostel was very cozy, we had booked a room with tatami mats and futon bed for ourselves. It was very spacious as we were able to also leave our big luggage (2 suitcases each 20kg) in our room. The Owner of the Hostel has a big knowledge about the area, such as where to go, what to do, and many other recomendations. We will definetly come back

Very well organised hostel well located in Fujiyoshida. It is well situated very close to the station and a short walk to all the tourist hotspots. Particularly useful for a quick walk to the Chureito Pagoda when the skies oblige. The start of the Fuji yoshida trail is around 45 minutes away on foot. A convenience store around a five minutes walk towards the station. The staff were all very helpful and provided clarity on onward travel options. All English speaking and knowledgeable, not to mention friendly. The actual facilities were better than expected with a nice balcony allowing for watching Fuji at all times, watching the lights at night on the mountain is a bonus. The dorms are well organized and wifi consistent throughout. The beds are comfortable and surprisingly private and large lockers provided for bags to avoid annoying other guests. Very clean and well maintained the hostel provides an ideal base for independent exploration of the Fuji area. We ate twice in the Phillipine restaurant near the station which we enjoyed for something different and satisfying.

I loved the environment, there were even some games available. Great bathroom area and good washing machines, and even free coffee and tea. There is a view for mount Fuji, though a bit covered by other buildings, is excellent and made me happy when I opened the curtains in the morning.

It’s a very nice hotel, you can see mt. Fuji right there. Staffs are really kind & nice, helps me a lot, even I was late and didn’t know how to buy the ticket to there, they have so much patience and told me where to go. Will be live there again next time with my parents.
